61yrs old and is the current I.B.F.A. Masters Mr. Europe and Masters Over 55 Mr. WORLD 2008 and top Masters competitor nationally and has over 45yrs competitive experience.
About Martyn
Started bodybuilding at 16yrs, moved to ato9wn from a farm and loved manual labour, became a junior England winner in 1965. Went on to win novice Britain 1978, was a car dealer, and switched to health club owner, developing classic world of fitness.
I won senior WABBA Britain 1990/91. Won masters Mr. UK and recently IBFA Mr. World. Bodybuilding has been there for me during my down times, it keeps me young and the comps keep me motivated.
Wannabees listen to me much more when I am in shape. I am now concentrating on developing new talent in my new gym in stockton on tees, with partner Deny Hoyle. Denys world gym, opening January 4th 2010.

Poached eggs on toast, Muesli and dry white wine.

3. Who inspires you in life and why?
Biaggio filizola, IBFA president who is still competing at 71 and owns a gym in Sapri Italy
4. What is your occupation?
Gym Owner
5. What has been your greatest achievement so far?
5th in over 50s Britain and universe last year, also IBFA European, and world champion 2008. This year I was 2nd and 3rd. However I came 3rd in the IBFA short class Mr. Europe. I competed 16 times this year, 3 universes, 1 world, and 1 Europe.
Since my novice Britain win in 1978, I won NABBA senior Britain twice, over50s Mr. UK, 3rd in ukbff final 2008. I have competed over 40 times in the last 3 years and am now the UK IBFA rep.
6. Do you have any other hobbies or passions?
Boxing football and athletics is my passion, as well as a beautiful female!
7. Do you think it’s important to look good off season?
Very important to stay lean off season, within 1 stone of contest weight.
8. What is your favourite Muscle Fury product and flavour?
Designer whey Banoffi.
